Worried About the Wind? Don’t BE!

This year’s Royal Highland Show was as brilliant as ever and our busiest yet. The first question nearly everybody asked us was..

Will this polytunnel stay up to the wind?’

The answer is a resounding and confident YES

Here are some testimonials from our lovely customers thrilled with their Haygrove Garden Tunnels, which are still standing strong after years with the same cover in the wilds of the Scottish weather.

We live in Portgower, a tiny hamlet on the Eastern coast of the Scottish Highlands, and our polytunnel is the first in line against the regular gales that sweep through our village. We bought a Haygrove polytunnel some 14 years ago and it never ceases to amaze me that it is still standing despite the devastating gales we experience every winter.  How often I’ve come downstairs too afraid to look out at the garden in case it’s been blown away along with the garden sheds, green houses and trees we’ve lost over the years, but it’s still there. We’re now treating ourselves to a recover, so hopefully we have another 14 years of polytunnelling ahead of us!   Thank you Haygrove!

Listen to Angus whose Haygrove Garden Tunnel on the VERY windy Isle of Skye is still standing strong, and with the same cover 12 years on!

We’ve just built another another Garden Tunnel at his new house north of Inverness.

We’ve supplied thousands of our Garden Tunnels have stood the test of time, weathering all that the storms can throw at them over the last 15 years. In fact, the more extreme areas of the UK is where we have the highest density of our Garden Tunnel customers: Cornwall, Pembrokeshire and Scottish Highlands. Good news travels and our tunnels have clearly earned their reputation of being strong enough to survive in these areas.
